Just a few minutes’ walk from the sea, The Architect’s House in Assos was built in 1920 and was completely renovated in 2020, but its architecture has been keept, is an attractive lemon-yellow traditional house which is made for casual strolls down to the quayside. The Architect’s House has three bedrooms in total, and two bathrooms – a perfect fit for families. What’s more, it’s got lots of character.
ssos has a little polished-pebble beach that’s around a five-minute wander away. Alternatively, take the 15-minute drive to Myrtos Beach, which is considered the best in Kefalonia.
On the ground floor of The Architect’s House is a homely, open-plan living and dining area with a kitchenette and farmhouse-style dining table. The lovely harbour of Assos is just a few minutes’ walk away. Here, you can make like Byron and people-watch from a waterfront cafe, or enjoy a traditional dish in one of the local tavernas.
A cleaning, towels/ sheets change is provided every 4 days of your stay free of charge.

CLEANING SERVICE:
A clean and tidy house is a must for us, especially when travelling with babies and small children. With that in mind, you will have a free cleaning and towels/ sheets change every 3 days during your stay.
Change-day for calendar 2025 is Saturday. Minimum stay 7 days.

Standard cancellation policy:
If you cancel your booking for whatever reason 1 month or more before the arrival date the deposit cost is fully refunded. However, please note that If you cancel 1 month or less your check in date no refund will be available.
Payment:
A deposit of 30% of the total value of your stay is payable at the time of booking
The remaining balance of 70% must be paid at least 30 days prior to your arrival date.
You will receive a reminder email about 35 days before your arrival advising you on how this can be paid, if you have not already done so.
In case your arrival is before 30 days you will be charge the 100%

An absolutely beautiful place to stay, very clean, tidy and pretty. So many different in the kitchen, including blenders, juicers and coffee maker. The residents try to help out with feeding the stray cats , so I ask that any visitors do the same and feed the cats as much wet food as you can!
